Competition Horses

Double Entendre, or Pun among friends, is a six year old German horse of impeccable breeding.  One grandsire was Galoubet, and the other was Donnherhall.  Marilyn is currently competing him at Training Level in dressage and at Novice in eventing.  The goal for this year is to qualify for the American Eventing Championships at Novice Level in the fall.  As to what comes after that, it depends on how his training progresses and where Marilyn’s  interests lead him.  The big idea is, “let’s have fun!”

Dario is a 2003 Hanoverian gelding,  imported from Germany and owned by Susan Herster.  His sire is Don Vino by Donnerhall and his dam is Lovelle by Lunge (Lugano II).  Marilyn has shown Dario since 2011, starting at Third Level, moving up consistently and winning numerous awards along the way.  In 2017, she plans to launch Dario’s FEI career at Prix St. Georges.  His owner has also shown him successfully at Third and Fourth Levels.
